Model: Archer AX53   RE315
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

Hello.
I have a question regarding EasyMesh/OneMesh.

My old setup had 3 separate wifi networks and I wanted to join them all into one with the EasyMesh.

So I bought one AX53 as my main router, and I have one RE315 at the end of the hallway on the same floor. Both products support easymesh and currently, they are working through wifi, ideally it would be with ethernet backhaul but for now, I dont think it's possible from what i have read online, I didn't knew this before i bought it.

My question now is the following.
I have another area on the house where the wifi does not reach, I have one AP (RE305) connected with ethernet.
I read somewhere that the OneMesh system is compatible with this router (AX53), and that the OneMesh supports ethernet backhaul.
So, would it be possible to replace that AP (RE305) with something that could connect with ethernet to the AX53 for it to connect to the easymesh? And if yes, with what for example?

I don't know if this is the right place for this but thank you for the consideration.

AX53 supports Easymesh with an ethernet backhaul through a beta FW - check this thread.

RE305 which is in AP mode can be replaced with RE315 which also supports Easymesh with an ethernet backhaul - details.

Onemsmesh doesn't support an ethernet backahul - details (Q5/A5).

@terziyski thank you for the tip, i managed to make the RE315 to work with ethernet backhaul and exchange the RE305 with the RE315, thanks.

A side note to help others, if someone using the Tether APP is in doubt if any AP is connected to the easymesh with wifi or cable, in the EasyMesh tab click on "Show List", and it will show the icon (cable or wifi) for each AP, in the map view you don't have that information.
