Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My Wifi Plan is 500 mb download which I am getting around 450ish using wired connection.

Recently got the AX3000 and on wireless connection I am getting around 300mb download speed.

Is it an overkill since AX1800 should be enough for my current download speed anyway?

AX1800 would suffice around 600 mbps direct ISP wireless bandwidth.

I don't think of this as an overkill considering that you may upgrade your ISP bandwidth in the future.

Moreover your local network wireless bandwidth would sustain faster wireless speeds with AX3000.
