Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: NA

Hi All... Hoping someone may be able to help?

My Vodafone Broadband was activated today (900Mb). I have a TP LInk BE9300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router that I would like to use with Vodafone Broadband rather than their supplied router.

I've input the PPPoE username and password which was supplied by Vodafone today, but I'm not getting connected.

Does anyone have any idea for how to get this router to connect?

Many Thanks :Smiling:

The following is what I've been able to gather from Vodafone's user forum as well as other Internet forums:

- the PPPoE username should be input in the format

- Some say that there is no VLAN-ID required if the connection is by Openreach (deselect "802.1Q Tag for Internet"), but others mention that VLAN ID should be enabled (tick "802.1Q Tag for Internet") and set to "101", like in the sample screenshot below.

Hi,

You might want to contact Vodafone and ask them what exactly is required to successfully establish the connection.

Other than that, if you tell us your country, the type of broadband connection and whether the broadband line was installed by Vodafone themselves or another party, then someone here might be able to help.

In many cases it turns out that beside the username and password a so-called "VLAN ID" is required as well, but the actual ID number depends on the factors I mentioned above.

  @woozle thanks for the reply.

we're in the U.K and it's an open reach FTTP.

Thanks
