Model: M7350
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 190531 Rel.1062n

There have been updates to the firmware to get versions of the M7350 to work with the VW MIB3 infortainment system. I have  the usual problem where the infortainment system  sees the M7350 but will not connect with a strike through the wifi symbol.and the security message.. I have searched and found updates for later versions of the M7350. Can anyone tell me if there is a firmware update for the V3 version that will allow me to change the settings to WPA2 EAS

Thank you

  @Ian-Inhome

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

M7350 only supports "WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK" encryption type.

If only a specific device is having trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi network, it is suggested to follow steps below:

    1) Connect a computer to the router via Ethernet cable and log in to the web management interface of the 4G LTE Router

    2) Go to Advanced > Security > Access Control, check if Access Control is enabled and whether the specific device is allowed to connect or not

    3) log in to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, and disable the "Smart Connect".

    4) Change the encryption method to "WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK" to improve compatibility with older devices.

    5) Update the driver of the client device.

Thank you for your reply I hahave tried every setting that I can find. The VW car infortainment will only work with only work with WPA/WPA2 AES there is no way that you can change the security setting on the car unit. Previous versions of the M7350 have had firmware updates that allow you to select AES without that the modem will not connect to the car
