Archer Air R5 not detecting wired connection
Just bought an Archer Air R5. I've plug my Synology NAS into the LAN port of the router, however the NAS isn't working up on the wired devices list in the router map. I've searched but can't find a solution. Think it might be a port forwarding issue?

Figured out the issue, it was the static IP on the NAS. It was "in a different range" than the router.

What's the Air R5 ethernet port status where you've have connected the Syno NAS:
Do you see the NAS in the router clients list:
You can check the ethernet port status from the Syno NAS WebGUI as well.

It's not showing any connection which is strange because it shows up in my old router just fine. I notice that you're using the Archer not as a wireless router. Could that be the issue?

What about ethernet port status (my first screenshot) ? What's the ethernet port status from Synology NAS side ?
Did you try another cable ?

This is what it is showing.

This means that the NAS is connected at 1000 mbps. on the R5 LAN port. Does the NAS get an IP address from R5 ? Do you have access to the NAS from other devices on your network ? If NAS network connection is OK then that's probably an R5 WebGUI issue.
