Hi,

Yes, TP-Link's router models of recent years have this behavior that they always try to redirect the browser to tplinkwifi.net.

However, this only seems to work as long as the browser's DNS queries are routed through the router and in plain form.

There could be a few reasons why that isn't the case.

For example, if you have enabled the "Use secure DNS" feature that is available in newer versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, then disable it and after that even a redirect to tplinkwifi.net should open the admin webpage of your AX53.

An option to be able to disable this feature has been requested over a year ago - here.

As you can see there is a little interest even from users that upvoted this feature request.

Why would TP-Link bother to make an effort on this for only 17 people.

Things get worse when you want to use the remote management feature - details.

If you enable remote (HTTPS) access using a DDNS service, after you've logged in the router WebGUI it will redirect you to http://tplinkwifi.net and the connection brakes.
