I'm shocked! I spend hundreds on this router and it doesn't even support EasyMesh! Absolutely disgraceful! Time to bin Tp-link and go with a more reliable brand!

@Marvin_S Leaving this issue unresolved for multiple years (including basically a year for this thread) is unacceptable. This was literally TP-Link's top-of-the-line WiFi 6 gaming router. It had many features for free that you now charge for. We need a resolution--whether that is following through on the previously promised but unceremoniously rescinded Ethernet backhaul EasyMesh workaround, working out another mesh workaround (e.g. OneMesh Ethernet backhaul), or something else entirely (e.g. a Best Buy / Amazon code for significant credit towards your latest WiFi 7 EasyMesh-compatible router--the GE800).

Do. Something. Please.

They are a company with only 26,000+ employees, they must really be struggling hard to add simple open-spec functionality to software they have complete design and control over :( it's almost like, for some reason, they actually don't want you to be able to do that with your purhcased hw. BUT luckily, coincidentally, they offer another product line with the functionality which you can spend more money on!

The lack of open EasyMesh support in 2025 is ridiculous.
