Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.6.3 Build 20231225 Rel. 60770

Hi guys

Firmware and model:

M9Plus(2.0)

1.6.3 Build 20231225 Rel. 60770

I'm have 4 Deco M9+ running the latest firmware. They are all running in AP mode as I have a custom router that does a lot of things the Deco can't.

The wireless backhaul feature is causing network outages as my switches are seeing them as a loop and spanning tree is blocking the ports. My home network is quite complex so I can't just change the switches as I have 6 of them all running various VLANs and LAGs.

I can't see any way to disable the wireless backhaul in the web management or the app. The app only has the ability to set a connection preference for the wireless backhaul, not to set it to wired. I'm also not sure why my Decos are changing from wired to wireless as the wired network is stable.

Do I need a custom firmware for this or is there a way to disable the wireless backhaul as long as there is a cable plugged into them?

Regards

Clay
