TP-LINK TL-WN822N V6 wifi adapter no longer know ad-hoc wifi on Windows 10
With the TP-LINK TL-WN822N V6 version adapter, it is no longer possible to create ad-hoc WiFi in a Windows 10 environment, whereas with the same type of older hardware version, this was possible. Why was this capability removed?
That would be exactly what I needed, and the reason I bought several of these WiFi adapters is because the older version (with a mini USB connection on the device) allowed for this, but since only this V6 version is available for purchase now and it doesn't support this feature, it's disappointing.
Moreover, the TP-Link website still states that it supports the ad-hoc WiFi function.
