AXE 16000   not much tech skills.  curious about proper settings for our dinasaur internet 20MB

used auto setup, worked for a few hours, flashing yellow,  reboot. same story over and over

we have this router for coverage in a huge home

Hi, is the router actual model no. Archer AXE300? please also let us know the hardware and firmware version.

 

Besides, flashing yellow means the system is starting up or the router is being reset, do you mean the router will reboot itself every several hours?

If so, please try the suggestions below:

1. Make sure the original power adapter is used, try another power socket/outlet.

2. Update the firmware of the Router to the latest one. You may login the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > System Tools > Firmware Upgrade to check for updates.

3. [Only for Comparison] Unplug all Ethernet cables attached to the Router, change the Wi-Fi network name into another one to disconnect all wireless client devices, see if the self-rebooting issue disappears.
