Hi, Nice to see you again.

I don't think it is an unknown issue.

Did you experience this issue on different mobile devices when they are connected to the Guest network?

The possible explanation I could think of might be:

This device was connected to both the Guest and Main WiFi before. When it moves between two Mesh APs, it will disconnect from the original AP, and somehow, it decides the Main network of the new AP is "better" than the Guest Network.

Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP many thanks for your reply.

I have experienced this on many difference devices (laptop and mobile).

I doubt that's the reason: my devices don't auto-join to the main network as I use it exclusively for IoT and I have the guest network with a weaker password for our daily usage devices and guests.

I heard that some Deco devices have a dedicated IoT network but mine apparently don't, so this is the way I solved it.

Lately I have been having many issues with connectivity: websites take a very long time to resolve and I have to revert to my mobile hotspot (same carrier, also 5G, so the issue must be between the deco and my devices, I guess). If I visit a speed test website, it takes ages to load, but after loading the speeds are actually quite good (around 250 down, 20 up)

I'm a bit lost on how to debug this as networking is, by far, where I'm least comfortable but the fact is that I haven't been able to use my home network reliably.

I know it's a long shot as I'm not providing any helpful information but any suggestion you might have on solving this once and for all would be extremelly appreciated.
