Ethernet port not working

Model: Deco
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a DECO AXE5300 6E Mesh router.

Port #3 is not working.  I have checked that it is not the ethernet cables.  The other ports work fine.  WiFi is working fine.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

  @ay2026

For the non-functional port #3 on your DECO AXE5300:

  1. Swap cables to rule out cable issues.
  2. Perform a factory reset.
  3. Check for firmware updates.
  4. If the problem persists, contact DECO support for assistance.

  @ay2026 couple of questions:

  1. Is port 3 being used for backhaul or just for Client devices?
  2. Is the problem on just one unit or all of the mesh nodes?
  3. What does your network look like? Do you have an ISP router with Deco units connected as APs or is it just the Deco mesh in router mode?
  4. If you are in AP mode, can you quickly remove the broken unit from the mesh in the Deco app, then connect it again to reset it?
