Deco mesh XE75 3-pack and Ethernet connection doubt
Please, I am going to install Starlink and I have bought the Ethernet adapter.
Now I want to use the 3-pack Deco XE75 mesh using Ethernet connections. My questions are:
1. I define the first Deco as Router (connected to starlink eth adapter) and Can I directly attach (using Ethernet cables) the others two Decos ( defined as access point)?
2. Can I use CAT 7 cables? Or what are the cat cable suggested?
Regards
Massimo

Hi, the Deco in the same Mesh system would have the same operation mode. So all 3 units would use wireless router mode.
Starlink--->Ethernet Adapter---main XE75---/ 2nd Deco XE75
\ 3rd Deco XE75
The above topology would work well.

The Ethernet ports on Deco XE75 are all gigabit ports and the CAT7 cables will be good enough for Ethernet Backhaul.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP many thanks. Just another doubt. The first "main XE75" should be in Router Mode, while the others two (2nd and 2rd) must be in Access Point mode or can I leave them in default (Router Mode)?
