Firmware Version:

I have a Western Digital "MyCloud" external harddrive for backup purposes.

This can only be connected through LAN, since the S4 does not provide a USB port.

Unfortunately, when I connect the harddrive to the LAN port of the S4, it is not recognised in the network.

Any solution for this?

This usually happens when user configured external storage with static IP address.

Configure WD MyCloud to obtain IP address dynamically and it should connect and will be recognized. Then, use IP address reservation feature from Deco mesh to keep same IP address for WD MyCloud: How to configure Address Reservation on a Deco
