Model: Deco S4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am now connecting my Deco S4 to a Archer C9 (White). This connectivity is recommended by TP Link.

The wireless in C9 has been disabled.

If I will to unplug my S4 from the Archer C9 and connect directly to my ISP modem, there will be no Internet connection.

May I know is there a way to connect my S4 directly to my ISP modem?

Thanks.

@mousehunt

Good day.

Sorry for the delay.

Yes, you could unplug the C9 and connect the Deco to the modem directly.

Please note: When replacing the C9, Deco S4(router mode) needs to use the same internet connection type as C9, such as dynamic IP or PPPoE;

Thanks a lot.

@TP-Link

I tried. It doesn't work. I even tried to reset the S4 and plug directly to the ISP modem and do a fresh setup. Still it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
