Knowledge Base Dynamic IP or PPPOE I Recommended Connection Type for Your ISP
Dynamic IP(DHCP/IPOE) and PPPOE are the commonly used internet connection types for multiple internet service providers. We have collected the common connection types of some regular ISPs below for reference only.
The best way is always to contact the ISP directly to get internet setup credentials.
And it is recommended to try "Dynamic IP" first if you have no idea what PPPOE username and password would be, especially with the following network layout.
