Availability of Deco S1900 beta firmware with signal source customization

Hi,
I recently bought a 3-pack Deco S1900 bundle. Unfortunately they won't connect in daisy chain, as I had expected them to. I know there are beta firmware updates for other unit models that add this feature. Is there a beta firmware update for the Deco S1900 (V1.0) EU, please?

Hi, welcome to the community.
I am afraid there hasn't been a beta firmware for Deco S1900 that supports customizing signal sources yet.
If possible, you could connect the furthest satellite Deco units via Ethernet cable to the Deco in the middle.
Or since you just purchased Deco S1900, you might consider replacing with the Deco that already supports this feature, like Deco M5/M9 plus, or Deco X20/50.

@David-TP Thank you for the reply. I wish this had been made clear to me prior to purchasing these units. If so, I could have set up an EasyMesh with a couple of routers I already have at home and I would have saved myself quite a bit of money. I bought the Decos specifically because I was under the impression that I could create a daisy chain configuration with these units, which isn't possible with EasyMesh (AFAIK).
Running a cable is difficult for me (that was the whole point of a wireless mesh system). The alternative units you mentioned are much more expensive than the S1900s, almost double. I feel cheated.
Is there an ETA for an updated firmware for the S1900 units, please?

There hasn't been an ETA yet.
Deco M4/S4_V4 also supports signal source customization with the latest official firmware and it has a competitive price.
But if you purchase online, the received hardware version is unpredictable. If you purchase Deco S1900 in a local store, the model number and hardware version are printed on the box.

@David-TP Thank you. I bought the units on Amazon. I think they are actually S7 units. Is there an ETA for an updated firmware for S7?
