If you trawl through this forum, there are a number of issues and problems raised about poor power and RF interference.
It is apparent working with an alternative software for many TP-Link modems (ROOter) that the factory AC plug pack is under rated, restricting power to the USB port and causing unreliable operation particularly with late model high power consumption modems, or modems used in poor signal locations.
Happily, there are a number of very simple solutions that will resolve many of the nagging USB router issues.
