DECO X20 can't add TAPO P100(v2) smart plug in the APP
DECO X20 can't add TAPO P100(v2) smart plug even if it is among the smart plugs in the list in the app. Says router firmware does not support this device, check for firmware update but it has the latest.
The P100 (v2) works and connects perfectly fine in the TAPO app just not in the DECO app :(
Anyone had the same issue and found a solution?

I am glad that you have brought out this issue. There was a protocol update on the Tapo/KASA devices and the current firmware of Deco X20_V2_1.2.3 does not support it yet.
It will be fixed later via an official firmware upgrade of Deco X20.

Hi. I updated my X20 to 1.2.4 last night and tried to add a P110 to the Deco app, but got the same error. Any estimates when the issue will be fixed?

Hi, May I know the hardware version for your Deco X20?
Deco X20_V4 with the latest firmware has added this new protocol while for V3, it might need some time.
You could set the smart plugs via Tapo/Kasa APP first to connect to Deco, and after that, they will automatically sync in the Smart Home on the Deco APP.
