Hi,
The RE305 cannot build a Mesh network with the Deco 9, because the RE305 V4 supports OneMesh/EasyMesh, while the Deco 9 supports DecoMesh, which are not compatible.
However, you can still connect the RE305 as a regular range extender and use the same SSID that is used by your Deco network. After you've successfully connected the RE305 just click on "Copy Host SSID" and save. The Wi-Fi password of the RE305 will be the same as the Deco Wi-Fi password anyway.
