Under Consideration EASYMESH for AX6600 . When?
when will AX90 will get the "Planned" support for EASYMESH?
I need more routers, and this data may affect my decision.
I understand you cannot give me an exact date, but it will be great if you will share the roadmap for this feature.
Thanks,
Amir

@Kevin_Z, would you be able to share when is the expected date for easymesh for AX90?
It is Q2 2024, and we would like to know if TPLINK is keen on delivering this to user.

@Kevin_Z After i buy the BE550 and then want to use ax90 by easymesh. But you guess what! It can not support. Maybe next time do not print any feature on the box if you cannot give customer 100 % guarantee!

@CoolDog Sorry to hear that. The Archer AX90 currently does not support EasyMesh, so it cannot connect to the BE550 via EasyMesh.

@Kevin_Z
Hello, just following up on this. I have an AX90 and AX55 that I would love to be able to use Easymesh on.
I'm contemplating buying a second AX55 to make my system work better and stop using the AX90. This is frustrating since the AX90 cost so much more and is mostly a better unit.
The AX90 is in my house and is used as my router and house wireless network.
Currently the AX55 is in AP mode with its own SSID. It is connected to the AX90 via ethernet. It is located in a detached garage on my property. I have to manually swap my phones wifi when I walk back and forth to the house and garage.
There is some overlap between the two routers, but too much distance for a wireless backhaul using Onemesh on the AX90.
The signals are strong enough to stay connected in the wrong building but have no useful data speed. IE, if I walk from house to garage the phone stays connected to house but has very slow internet speed. If I force it to change to garage then it works fine until I go back to the house.
If there is any Beta testing happening with the AX90 Id be happy to participate and give feedback.
Thanks

I apologize, but there is no public beta available to add EasyMesh support to the Archer AX90.
Based on your description, it seems the AX90’s Wi-Fi signal is strong enough to prevent devices from switching to the AX55. If that’s the case, try reducing the AX90’s transmit power to Medium or Low under Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings:

Is Easymesh under development or abandoned?
Why is the top-tier device still waiting?
Is because BE series is marketing?
Can you clarify anything for me?

@MoPJaNg plain and simple
TP-Link does not care about what you want, or even give you answers
you spend $300 on a premium product that hasn't gotten a viable firmware update since it came out
I promise Kevin will give you the same bs answer he gives everyone
they must have 1 engineer working over there cuz s-h-y-t never actually gets done
right @Kevin_Z ?

We apologize for keeping you waiting and appreciate your patience. As confirmed with the development team once again, the upcoming official firmware for Archer AX90 will not only support EasyMesh but also introduce a suite of exciting new features that you may be interested in, including WireGuard VPN, IoT Network, etc. Given the complexity of integrating these advanced features, the development and testing phases are taking longer than expected.
We are excited to share that the development team is targeting a beta/pre-release firmware release for the Archer AX90 in November, specifically for our community members to explore and provide feedback on these new features. While we are optimistic about this timeline, please be aware that it remains subject to change due to the nature of software development.
I will publish the beta/pre-release firmware as soon as it is ready. In the meantime, please stay tuned to our official channels for updates and further information.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we strive to provide you with the best possible product experience.
