Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20230906 rel.52143(5553)

Hi,

I updated to the latest Firmware yesterday.  Everything seems fine other two issues I'm hoping to get some help with.

Issue One - Local Password Login via App

Historically I've logged in via the PC using my TP-Link login.  I don't recall ever setting a local password.  Post firmware update I'm being asked for a Local Password to access via the app.  Will I have set a local password and forgotten it? or, if I've never needed a local password before, is there another way to access via the app?  If not, I assume I have to reset the Router and start again?

Issue Two - Terramaster NAS (F5-221) won't connect (wired)

My Terramaster NAS was working flawlesly.  However, since the firmware update it won't connect to the Router.  DCHP is enabled. I have reserved the IP Address of the Router. The IP Address is within the IP range. Looking at the Network Map in the router after I turn the NAS off (using the front button) and then on again, I can see it's there briefly and then disappears. The router is the same router I had yesterday - only difference is the firmware update. The NAS is out of the way and doesn't get touched so struggling to see it being the result of anything at the NAS end.

Any assistence would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.

1. The router always requires to create a local password when you login the router at first time via web interface of Tether App, so you must have created one before.

If you don't remember any possible password, please reset the router to factory defaults and you will see it asking you to create one at first time login.

2. Regarding the NAS connection issue, please try different LAN ports and different Ethernet cables, also see if it works after factory reset since you might reset the router for the first issue.

Hi, when the issue happens, the 2.4G WiFi disconnected completely, or still connected but no internet access? How many client devices are connected to the 2.4G WiFi?

Please try to change the 2.4G WiFi channel and channel width on Advanced->Wireless->Wireless Settings page to see if it helps.

@Sunshine did some test. I have 1gig internet. When I connect to the 5ghz network, I get close to 900mbps upload and download. When I connect to my 2.4ghz I get around 15mbps download and 1.3 upload. Something is definitely wrong. I downloaded a Wifi analyzing tool and picked the best channel. I used 20hz and also 40hz. This wasn't a problem before the firmware upgrade.
