Hi,
I got an AX53 router that i have been only using in AP mode, but recently even though the link is with a cat6 cable and it does connect at 1Gbps at first but after a while it revers to 100mbps connection and wifi gets capped so i need to restart it, then it is working again at 1gbps.. but soon after reverts to 100mbps.
I tried other cables also but the same problem, tired different LAN ports, same. Restarted modem everything but problem consists.

Hi, when the AX53 router is used as AP mode, its WAN port should be connected to your main router, LAN ports connect to computers etc., since you mentioned WiFi gets capped, please confirm if it is the WAN port of AX53 reverts to 100Mbps after working on 1Gbps for some time, or both WAN port and also LAN ports?
Please also share with us screenshots of the negotiation speeds if possible.
In addition, what is the model no. of the main router? and if you connect a computer to the same port of the main router, then monitor for some time, will it also change from 1Gbps to 100Mbps?

Hi,
Yes i would like to confirm that the AX53 WAN port is connected to main router(Magenta Home Box; Technicolor; FGA2233) and after a reboot, or unplugging and plugging back the RJ45 into the main router, i get a 1Gbps link, but then it reverts to 100mbps. I tried different cable, also tried using different port but for no use, it does revert to 100mbps after a while so i dont think that specific port is the problem my PC is on 1gbps speed in whatever port i plug it in. The Magenta Home Box is working fine, every other device is stable at 1Gbps(besides my NVR that isn't gigabit).

TP Link support, I have the same issue at my place too.
I have 2 other TpLink routers, AX73 and C1200. Both work fine and run on 1Gbps but AX53 runs on 100Mbps only. For me I tried unplugging the LAN cable and putting in another port on AX53 device still same always 100Mbps. Cable is Cat6 so no issue there. Both the other TPLink routers work at 1Gbps.

Hi, may I have the topology of your whole network? are the three routers in the same network?
For the AX53 issue, you mean the LAN port or WAN port running on 100Mbps only? Please share with us the screenshots.
