AX73 EASY MESH
Hi, TPlink marketing and R&D department,
I like to know why AX73 model couldn't have Easy Mesh but lower model AX72 can use Easy Mesh? Please let me know the exact answer if you guys going to add the easy mesh into the newer firmware. I'm considering to switch to another brand. Thank you.

Hardware Version: V1.0
Firmware Version: 1.3.5 Build 20230919 rel.12938(4555) EU
I found this update pending on 14.10.2023 and installed it. The great news of this version is EasyMesh support. The menu item OneMesh is changed to EasyMesh and appears to stay for both of them. Unfortunately I couldn't check it because of lack of a second compatible device.
The previous version on my AX73 was 1.2.6 Build 20230621 public beta release to improve OpenVPN performance on Archer AX73/AX55. I didn't find any throughput degradation after update.
I found difficulties with the VPN client. There was an active OpenVPN server connection when I made the update, I couldn't turn it off after that and I have to delete it from the server list to stop it. When I tried to activate another server connection, the switch moved to desired position, a sign "operation unsuccesful" appeared below and no connection is established. I have deleted all six entries in the server list and I entered them again, after that all they operate normally.
Another difficulty I found is accessing the router by Tether Android app v.4.2.29, which appears the latest one, using the main network. It ts not accesible by main network and the guest network (as expected). It is accesible by AP with wired connection to AX73, external network, and web interface. I didn't find remedy yet.

Some versions of AX73 router like AX73 V2 TW or JP have supported EasyMesh, I suppose AX73 V1 is also planned to support it but there is no further information about when it can be expected, so I guess we could only pay close attention to any new firmware update on the router web GUI or TP-Link website.

@IKr Thank you for your useful information. I will try to find the firmware version. The difference between One Mesh and Easy Mesh is Easy Mesh enable other brand router and OpenWRT AP/Router to connect and this will be useful to utilize old WiFi Router with OpenWRT Easy Mesh.

Thanks a lot for the sharing and feedback.
The new firmware 1.3.5 Build 20230919 indeed added EasyMesh function
Regarding the router access issue via Tether App locally, may I know if the issue still exists now? If so, may I have a screenshot?
