Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.8 b20230619 Rel 48552

Dear all,

I use Deco with 3 nodes in a router mode. My goal is to access the website which is hosted in my LAN.

I found the option in iOS DECO application called DDS, however I'm not sure how to use it.

I have an experience with NO-IP and familiar services, but in DECO App I can choice only  TPLINIKDNS. Unfortunatelly providing the name of domain name doest work.

Reffering to the tplink KB https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3481/ service DDNS is included. Also, logging to the router web portal I do not see any DDNS configuration

Any thoughts?

thx

  @Cukier

Hi, the current firmware of Deco M4_V2_1.5.8 only supports TP-link DDNS. The applied model in FAQ 3481 is Deco M4_v4.

TP-Link DDNS is capable of fulfilling a similar purpose as NO-IP DDNS.

Could you please check on this link whether the current IPV4 address on Deco is the same as IP address showing here:https://whatismyipaddress.com/

Thank you very much and best regards.
