High Ping
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help. I orignally used an Lebara sim (vodafone network) in my router but from 3pm to 11pm most days i would get high packed loss. I think this is due to the mast being overloaded with traffic?
So i then switched to Lyca mobile who use EE but i had to turn data roaming on - why is this? And can anyone help with my ping its over 300 all the time the Lyca but i get no packet loss. with vodafone It was 40ms but lots of packet loss at peak times.
If there a fix to either problem so i can get good 4G internet?
Thanks
Tom

Hi,
I have stuck with vodafone who give me the best ping (on band 1) i assume thats due to tower location. I do get packet loss as i mentioned. Do you have any ideas on how i can improve the packet loss?

Hi, please check network type, band and also signal strength on Advanced->Status page, if it is working on 3G, you could try changing network mode to 4G Only on Advanced->Network->Internet page.
However, if it always works on 4G but still have those issues, please try to select 4G band manually to try different bands to see if it makes any difference:
