could not get remote login
could not get remote login
The issue is I can't access remotely above mentioned router by all the possible settings which I know.
I can ping from router to router but unable to access remotely although I changed remote port but no benifits.
Kindly assist with the working steps to access the above router remotely (Via WAN Port).
Regards.

It's more like:
Make the necessary port-forwarding on your main router - TL-WR940N for the C24 remote management port.
There's no need for port-forwarding on C24 - just configure the remote port on the Administration page (start with all devices, if that works you can specify one - it's your choice).
HTTP Referre Head Check on C24 should be disabled (not ticked) - see my screenshot above.

Here's a guide for configuring remote management of C24.
For this to work, make sure that your C24 WAN(Internet) IP address is the same as your public IP address (i.e. you're not behind double NAT or CG-NAT).
You can check your public IP address by googling "What's my IP address".
WAN(Internet) IP address can be checked through the C24 web management interface.

@Jdhn I think you can also check that your firewall allow ping requests while blocking remote access requests.

@terziyski
I have others router behind different routers. All of them are working.
In my case, the main router TL-WR940N and the sub router is Archer C24. I forwarded the port related to the the assigned IP but can't access,
For your instance,
Main router 192.168.168.2 TL-WR940N
Sub router 192.168.2.102 Archer C24
mentioned the recommended settings should be on both ends.
The settings you have mentioned earlier I have tried already.

You're in a double NAT scenario. For this to work as expected you need to disable this setting on C24 (given that you've made the necessary port-forwarding on TL-WR940N):

Above are the current settings I made. I can't edit we address for management to 0.0.0.0
Moreover, there is no option for http head checker.
I have mentioned the hardware and firmware version in my 1st post.
sorry for all inconvenience.

You have to upgrade your C24 FW version to the latest one - here, which has this feature:
Here's how to upgrade your C24 FW manually (Case 1).
For Web address for management - 0.0.0.0 it's just an example. This IP address should reflect your C24 WAN(internet) IP address - it shows up automatically - in your case it's 172.16.1.123.
Of course the port-forwarding on TL-WR940N for port 7431 to the WAN IP address of the C24 should also be configured.
It is very important that your TL-WR940N WAN IP address to be the same as your public IP address for all this to work.

@terziyski Still not able to log in remotely.
If I am connected to WR940N, I can log in to archerC24 by entering its WAN IP with port number.
While on the main ISP router, I can't log in to archerc24.
On WR940N,
On ArcherC24,
On other sides I am using the same WR940N and archer C60, I can login to 2nd routers by using the same criteria.
The issue is only with ArcherC24 only. (upgraded to last version too).
