Model: Archer MR200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Can I turn my old MR200 into a repeater / extender?

One old post at this forum says that I can't but what is then the WDS section for?
I mean:  Archer MR200 Menu > Advanced > Wireless > Advanced Settings > WDS > Enable WDS Bridging
( see here: https://emulator.tp-link.com/MR200%20Emulator/index.htm )
Also, may I repeat an original 2.4GHz Wifi signal in the 5GHz range or the other way round?

Thanks for any tips or hints.

Hello, new versions of MR200 don't support WDS any more, for MR200 V1, you might still have the WDS function, please follow this guide to configure it:

  @Sunshine Thanks, it works.
Indeed, I have V1 and it worked. I have it configured as an extender.
