I am considering buying a TP-Link Archer C64 v1 router.

Two questions:

1) I note that the power adapter can deliver max. 12 W and presumably does not draw much more than than from mains;

but what is the actual power consumption under normal use?

2) I want to use it in access point mode.

I read that after selecting access point mode I should connect the C64's WAN port to the wired network.

So far, so good. Now comes the question:

Will the built-in network switch still work?

In other words: Can I use the 4 LAN ports to extend my wired network?
