Internet often disconnects for a couple seconds
Hello,
I have a TP-Link RE450 extender that works perfect, when it works. But pretty often, maybe 2 times an hour, i'm getting disconnected for a couple seconds. All LEDs on the extender is also ON when im disconnected.
The weird thing is that when im playing a game and using voice communication software like Discord, im only getting disconnected from one of the programs.
I'm getting disconnected from using the internet each time though.
The error message in Google Chrome tells me that the ''DNS server couldn't be found'' or something like that.
I've tried rebooting and going through the setup several times without luck, i've also tried switching to high speed mode also without luck. Flushing DNS in CMD also didn't do much.
I'm also using a ethernet cable from my PC to the extender, but the WIFI is also getting disconnected for those seconds, so that shouldn't be the issue.
Looking forward to hearing if there's anything i could do to prevent this
Thanks!
EDIT: Feels like maybe this is happening when the Extender switches channels or something along those lines, since alot of the settings are set to auto. I didn't have this problem on my previous RE200 when it was set to a specific 2,4gHz and 5gHz channel.
