Model: RE200 Archer AX10

Hey 👋

I've just brought a RE200 extender.

I've got an Archer AX10 modem (the firmware is up-to-date)

It's set up and works fine.

However I cannot add it to Mesh.

Mesh on th modem is turned on.

It comes up with add RE200, I click the plus button to add it, and "operation failed" pops up

Is there anyway around this at all?

Hi,

Two things come to my mind that you could try.

1) Reset the RE200 via the reset button inside the small hole and then try again.

2) Instead of using the Tether app log into the web management interface of the Archer AX10 (via http://tplinkwifi.net/ or http://192.168.0.1/ ) and try to add the RE200 from there.

By the way, what is the hardware version of your RE200? (it should be printed on the label on the backside of the RE200, something like "Model: RE200(US or EU) Ver: x.x")
