Deco BE85 can not switch to Access Point Mode
I am unable to successfully switch the Deco main unit from Wi-Fi Router mode to Access Point mode. I want to share the same subnet between my wired and wireless devices.
I want them all on the 192.168.1.x subnet.
Currently all wired clients are 192.168.1.x and Deco 192.168.68.x.
Some clients can not see some devices.
Some clients are not managed anymore by the Untangled firewall as they are on a seperate subnet.
Each time i change the Deco from WiFi to Acces Point in the Deco App interface, the device reboots and redoes the entire setup loop again.
When i complete it, the device is running in Wifi Router mode.
I have tried this with the 2 satallities connect and disconnected.
I have tried this with my Lan cable connected or disconnected.
I have tried this with a DHCP connection and fixed IP address.
Everytime its the same continuous loop and never works.
I am very frustrated this incredibly expensive device is not working as intended.
In my network i have a 1GBe WAN connection to the house and then a Harware based firewall running Untangled from Arista.
The HW based firewall does DHCP and packet switching across my LAN and WAN.That device has been setup to control our families access times and security.
The Deco 85 is wired directly to a 10Gbe switch which is wired to the lan side of the firewall.
The Deco 85 replaced a Ubiquiti Mesh Wifi system which was running in AP mode and working on the same subnet as the wired network.
Appreciate any assistance!
