Deco X90 Satellite Connection issues
I recently upgraded my Deco X90 system to firmware 1.2.2 and I've been having issues with connections between the main and satellite units ever since. I have 2 nodes in my system and I use wireless backhaul between them, with a distance of one floor between the units. They've been previously extremely stable with no issues. Since upgrading to 1.2.2 I've had trouble getting the units to connect to each other at the same distance they were before. I've factory reset the network a few times and have swapped which unit is the main one and which is the satellite but it hasn't improved things. I've currently had to move the satellite closer to the main unit to get any kind of stable connections between them, but this is not idea. Is this a known issue or couid someone help me diagnose what's going on here?

Hi @Mayb14 @Engladian @Danny345 @DCdane and All,
Thank you very much for all your feedback here.
After troubleshooting with serval users, the senior has provided a beta firmware to fix the following issue:
This issue Applies to:
Deco X90 V1 1.2.2
Issue Description/Phenomenon:
Some customers may find that after upgrading the firmware to version 1.2.2, the satellite Deco which used to work normally will lose the connection with the main Deco and turn into a flashing red light, and once the satellite Deco is moved near the main deco, it will work normally again. The same satellite works properly at the same location when the firmware was 1.1.6/1.1.7.
Possible Solution:
The issue would be optimized along with the official firmware upgrade.
Currently, please install the following beta firmware first to fix the current issue:
Deco X90_V1_1.2.3_build_20230707
>>How to update the beta firmware via web UI.

@Engladian The newest firmware for X90 I can find is 1.1.7, which was released in May. Where did you find 1.2.2?

@DCdane the Deco app offered the update to me. It's a big update with a lot of new features but I'm wondering if a bug has been introduced in the radio backhaul.

@Danny345 glad that worked for you. I've tried that twice (including swapping the main and satellite deco's) with no luck. The connection between the two units is stable at least, just not as good range as before. Totally agree about the new features though!

@David-TP do you have any thoughts on this issue? I feel that I'm seeing many of the same issues on my X90 that others are seeing on other devices. Is there any beta firmware that might help my problem?
