Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

I have two identical routers running EasyMesh.  The main one has just updated to 1.2.0 will the satellite one get updated without me doing anything?  Does it need to be updated.  Dare I ask what advantages 1.2.0 will give me?

Ethernet backhaul?

Thanks John

Hi,

In case the actual model identification of your router is "Archer AX55 V1", then you can read a summary of the changes in firmware version 1.2.0 here: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-ax55/v1/#Firmware

  @woozle

Many thanks, I'd looked at the pge but it didn't sink in the details were there.

It looks like  I'll have to wait for ethernet backhaul.

Any idea how EasyMesh deals with firmware upgrades?

Thanks John

Check this post for EasyMesh FW updates.

Here's a screenshot from Archer C86 WebGUI:

One of those "Real Soon Now" and we hope it works. For the moment it seems to be functioning as a mesh quite nicely so I'll just leave it as it is. Thanks John
