Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1

After adding X50-Outdoor To my network, I got the option to turn on channel limits

What does this really mean?

"Channel Limits

This feature is for outdoor use of Deco X50-Outdoor.

When the Deco works outdoors, enable Channel Limits to disable the frequency range from

51 50 MHz to 5350 MHz to meet local laws and regulations, which may need 10 min CAC

silence and 1 60MHZ in the 5GHz band may be unavailable in some regions/countries

Your Deco may not be able to wirelessly connect with indoor Deco models due to the band

limitation. Please use wired connections between Decos for stable Ethernet backhaul."

Enabel to disable?!

  @Master_Torsten

It really boils down to local legistlation on the frequency between 5150 and 5350 mhz.

In short, not all countries allow the use of that specific frequency outdoors (only indoors), you would need to check your specific region for this but the UK for example is "indoor use only" so it should be ENABLED (Enable to restrict the WiFi from using this frequency)

However, if using the Deco indoors, then it can be left disabled.
