Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

model and version:

TL-MR6400(APAC)  4g MODEM - I think hardware is VERSION V5.3? It says Ver 5.30 on bottom of modem,is this the hardware version?

300MBPS Wireless N 4G LTE, 4X gigabit cat6

this version has:

micro sim slot

Will resetting the modem using the reset  button on rear remove all possible virus infections? Or perhaps reinstalling the firmware ?

I havent been to the settings page on the modem as it may be infected. What should i do?

It was bought a couple of months ago,so  if  the firmware version available for download is the same, will i be able to reinstall it? I havent been to the settings page of the modem as it maybe infected

It is the Australian version, bought in australia about 2 months ago

Please help

Thanks in advance

Hi, if you are worried about the security, please just reset the router to factory defaults, then set it up again, and please create a new login password and also wireless password with strong security.

After that, please let us know your current firmware, we will check if it needs update or not.

Hello, I have another problem, I did not create a new topic so as not to clog the forum.

I also have the same version of the router, but I mistaf lashed it with a different region. Now the router is terribly slow and does not accept its APAC firmware. Now it is running firmware 5.3 for the UK region.

Please tell me how to get my firmware back.
