Did you reset the old units before powering them on?   If not they will be looking for the older / existing network and that is why its going RED (cant see other deco).  

If its reset it should go to setup mode first.

Thanks - yes this worked all now set up, although keep getting drop outs and low signals occasionally,

I have optimized but still happens occasionally

If you look at the app, how strong is the signal between the Deco nodes?

You may find that the signal is just on the edge of good, and therefore during peak times the interference is high and performance suffers.   Moving the node a bit closer may help!

Feel free to post a pic of the signal strength / connection from the Deco app and we will take a look
