Archer MR500 regular internet disconnection
Just bought an AC1200 / Archer MR500 LTE router, and put an EE sim card in it. The router doesn't last 12 hrs before internet disconnects. This has happened every day since I've had the router, which is nearly a week now.
I've tried various settings, nothing seems to work. I've searched the forum, can't find anything of help - but apologies if this has already been covered.
When internet is lost, I can connect to the internal web server on 192.168.1.1 and look at the settings, and get the log file. Looking at the log file around the time when I think I lost internet, I see this message:
2023-04-10 08:08:54 [6] 4G: ERROR: The PS registration state parse error.
No idea what it means.
Some screenshots of it in the failed state:
Can't seem to upload the log file but can paste parts of it in if it would be helpful.
Any help appreciated!

@Sunshine I actually have a MR550(EU) Ver:1.0 but it seems the firmware is the same as the MR500, can you confirm that?
Thanks.
Hi, yes, MR550 uses the same firmware as MR500, you could also try the same beta firmware if you are experiencing the same LTE disconnecting issue.

The error is the below:
Error code 71211Filed to upload the upgrade file. Please select the correct file.
My current firmware is 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 220818 Rel.69350n
My hardware is Archer MR500 v1.0 00000003
Yes, I used the file you linked
Hello, did you unzip the downloaded file into a folder and then upload the .bin file?
If it is still the same error, you could also try downloading and updating newer official firmware first:

As you suggested, I downloaded and installed the Archer MR500(EU)_V1_230316 beta firmware and have just completed nearly five uninterrupted days of service. It would appear - fingers and toes crossed - that the solution has been found. Thank you; I was beginning to despair.
I did eventually reboot the device, as speed had dropped to almost zero - no idea why - and it is again racing away unconstrained. With this fix, I can now report that I am very pleased with this piece of equipment.
My thanks to everyone involved in getting me mobile again.
Thank you very much for the feedback, glad to hear that the beta firmware worked fine in your case.
Hope you could enjoy the internet.

My router has now completely stopped working showing the following message: "No SIM card detected or SIM card error." I rebooted the router and ejected the sim and reinserted it and still nothing. Put the SIM in my mobile and it works fine. I then requested a return and refund from Amazon for this piece of junk. I suggest everyone do the same. This device clearly wasn't tested properly before release and seems to likely have hardware problems in addition to the pretty obvious firmware issues. I am also done with TP Link completely. I will never buy anything from this brand again.

Ciao, I have the same problem, but it appears suddenly each week or 10 days. I had installed the last FW version, but the problem is appears again. The only solution is an restart, but from remote is impossible. I have already contacted the support but they for now they don't respond. The SMS work but with them it is no possible send an restart. I would like to set the daily reboot.
I don't understand why Tp-link knows the problem, but they don't make a resolution!!!

@Sunshine I have just seen you have put a new link to firmware upgrade 230316. I will try this out and let you know if this solves the problem of regularly losing internet connection with all previous firmware.
i don't know if one of my problems could be a lowish signal but surely if I was to lose signal completely for a few seconds the router should reconnect to internet when the MR500 receives a signal again 🤷🏼♂️
