AX55 Pro vs AX72?
I am looking to buy a Wifi 6 router in the UK and face the following trade-offs:
-
TP-link AX55 Pro (AX3000) has one 2.5G ethernet port and an unspecified Qualcomm CPU. It also claims a little better Wi-Fi sensitivity than the AX72
-
Tp-link AX72 (AX5400) has only gigabit ports but 4x4 antennas
Which router spec should I choose?
Many of our home clients support Wifi 6 2x2 80MHz and I don't expect to have an internet speed anywhere near a gigabit soon. I currently also have no devices that support 2.5G ethernet. So I was wondering:
-
Is a single 2.5G port useful for anything?
-
Will 2x2 devices benefit from having a 4x4 router or is this bandwidth completely wasted given how MU-MIMO is claimed not to work in practice?
-
What about 160MHz router benefitting 80MHz clients?
-
Is there any info on there respective CPUs?
