Router red light is on after connecting WiFi

Model: Archer C20

Hardware Version: V5

Firmware Version: 0.9.1 4.17 v0001.0 Build 201214 Rel.42010n(5553)

After installing the router everything is working fine. I was using it on my desktop using RJ45 cable and 3 mobiles were connected to the WiFi network through 2.4Ghz network.

But as soon as I am connecting my Dell laptop to the wifi network, the internet light is turning red and I can't access the internet. Sometimes it stays for 2 min & sometimes more than 15 min. Then automatically the light turned green and everything is working fine again.

Not sure why this is happening, I tried with 2 different laptop and the result is same.

Anyone has an idea about it, please help!

Hi,

This issue sounds interesting.

Are you running some special software on the laptops? Are they connecting to the 2.4G or 5G network? Try the other.

Who is your internet provider? Is the WAN connection type on the C20 PPPoE or Dynamic? Is there a modem?

Have you ever tested the internet connectivity with another router? Will it behave the same?
