What will happen if I puts a new faster SIM card
Hello! What happens if I put in a new SIM card with a download speed of up to 225 Mbit/s in the Archer MR200 router (4G LTE network for using Wi-Fi devices - download speeds up to 150 Mbit/s)? Will my router work with the SIM (download speed up to 225 Mbps) or will not? It doesn't matter if I will get only a limited 150 Mbps speed and lose speed up to 225 Mbit/s. Thank you!

Hi,may I know who is the carrier of your new SIM card?
Indeed, the speed will be limited, but it is not related to the compatibility. As long as the network type and bands supported by the SIM card matches with the MR200, they should be able to work together, unless your SIM card plan is only allowed to work on smartphone or ISP-supplied devices.

@Sunshine thank you so much! I use O2 sim with 100 Mbit/s, but want to change it to 225 Mbit/s (just find it cheaper lol). So I just was wondering should I buy a new router, because 150 Mbit/s is really good for me.
