Model: RE220
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 210608 Rel.32729n (6985)

I have bought 4 tp-link RE220 and configured them to work in access point mode, uplink via ethernet port.
I have cat6 ethernet wiring, with 1/1Gbps uplink, all ethernet ports achieve at least 890/800Mbps internet download/upload.
The APs are mounted horizontally on the walls, since the power outlets are set that way.

My first access point is configured, as follows:

The second one is:

The third AP is configured as the first one.
And the forth one is configured as the second one.
WPS is disabled on all devices.
I've also configured static IPs on all of the APs and disabled their internal DHCP server, since i already have my own.

1. With HT40 (40MHz) capable wifi client devices on 2.4GHz i get speeds of maximum 42Mbps download 94Mbps upload. The 5GHz is similar, except it could get to like 50Mbps download. Since these APs have 100/100Mbps only port on them, it can be noticed by the cheap 4 wire ethernet connector, why is the wifi download not achieving 94Mbps?
(In close proximity of the APs, right next to it.)

2. With HT20 (20MHz) only capable wifi client devices, i get speeds of 20/20Mbps at best, or 20/1Mbps download/upload or something in between.
In comparison i've tested with similar access point gear from another Chinese manufacturer and i get like 55/60Mbps for HT20.

Could you please honestly tell me, should i stop wasting my time any further with these?

@Potatoe Hi, Have you tried to leave one RE220 only and test the wireless speed of 2.4ghz and 5ghz again?

It is also suggested to check the wireless link speed:How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

And it might be not related to this issue. since they are 4*RE220 and RE220 only has 100 ports, have you ever considered the Deco Mesh system, like a 3*pack Deco M4:

Best regards.
