@bharat1rane  5 months down the line, I don't see any answers. So for those folks reaching here with the same headache, here's what I did to set it up.

1. Login to 192.168.1.1 with admin as username and password if you haven't setup yet

2. Go to Advanced

3. Select Network->Internet

4. Bottom of the page, click on create profile

5. Fill in the information but keep APN type as static and APN as jionet

AND YOU ARE DONE!

***Ensure you have your router on

  @bharat1rane  sometime it works for a couple kf minutes and then Internet goes away. Shows connected but cannot provide internet

  @bharat1rane I think i have figured out a way if sim status is "Sim card prepared" and there is not signal blinking in your router) just now.

1. Do Reset router, after that do web login to 192.168.1.1, ideally it would open Quick startup tab (Don't click on next).
2. Go to advanced > internet > create profile> add below APN settings.
3. The profile name should be "internet(default)" without quotes.
4. click save.
5. reboot router.
6. At this point of time you should see the signal blinkers on (which i got it!).
7.  Continue with your usual setup

same thing it's happening with me only in Jio sim for Airtel it's working fine
