My main deco s4 router will not connect to the internet over the ethernet cable that connects to my modem. My modem is downstairs, and my main router is on the first floor which is connected to it through a cable that runs through the wall (20 meter long cable). The cable works fine when connected to my pc. When I connect my deco to the modem downstairs with a 2 meter cable all is fine as well. Any ideas what is going wrong?

Hi, How did Deco "not connect to the internet over the Ethernet cable that connects to my modem"? The LED is always solid red?

Have you tried to update the firmware for Deco S4-V2 to be the latest Deco S4(EU)_V2_1.5.1_220113

If possible, you could connect Deco S4 behind the main router, and set it up to work as an Access Point:
