  @Kevin_Z Eventhough a pre-release

firmware for Archer AX53_V1 routers was published on December 24th, 2024 the issue I have reported is NOT resolved yet.

Archer AX53_V1 1.3.1 Build 20241120 (Pre-release

The behavior of the router is exactly the same as before. If any satellite router rebooted manually or all of them rebooted due to a power outage, the EasyMesh Wired/Ethernet Backhaul feature does not converges/activates anymore. The network gets unstable and the network connectivity is lost forever.

May I ask you when the new firmware for

Archer AX53_V1 routers is going to be released to resolve this issue?

Is there any information on when we can expect EasyMesh to support full IOT and guest networks?

It seems again something that has been missed out, all of my routers support both IOT and Guest networks on their own so why not support these networks as part of the Mesh System?

@Spawn_e_git

While we can't provide an estimated time of arrival for this feature, it has been forwarded to the relevant team for evaluation. We plan to optimize the EasyMesh implementation in future updates.

Hello Kevin,

Recently I've acquired an Archer AX55 V1 router. It runs the latest firmware version 1.3.3.

When I had the AX55 V1 setup as an Easymesh Satellite I logged into its web management interface and noticed that the Network Map menu contains a section titled "Guest Network".
My EasyMesh Main router is a different TP-Link model and no Guest network is showing up on the AX55 V1 Satellite.

But here is my question. If the EasyMesh Main router and the Easymesh Satellite router were both the model AX55 V1 with firmware v1.3.3, would the Guest Network then be extended to the Easymesh Satellite router?

Hello @woozle,

After upgrading both AX55 V1 units to the new pre-release firmware version 1.3.5, the satellite unit will extend the Guest Network from the main router:

@lemiel Not yet. Currently, the satellite AX55 V1 can only extend the main's primary/main network and Guest Network.

I dropped out of this thread a few months ago as it seemed the same questions being asked over and over again about EasyMesh deploying the Guest/IOT networks  and the same noncommittal answers being provided. It appears nothing has changed angry

So to cover the likelihood of this ever being provided.

Q: Does TP-Link actually have any devices (Archer not Deco) that share the IOT/Guest WIFI over the Easymesh system?

It seems if there is still no device or combination of devices that do offer this function after this thread being open for almost 2 1/2 years, its not going to happen and we should no longer bother asking.
