Is there any information on when we can expect EasyMesh to support full IOT and guest networks?

It seems again something that has been missed out, all of my routers support both IOT and Guest networks on their own so why not support these networks as part of the Mesh System?

@Spawn_e_git

While we can't provide an estimated time of arrival for this feature, it has been forwarded to the relevant team for evaluation. We plan to optimize the EasyMesh implementation in future updates.

Why not, every project of every software development and any other project has a timescale, both for visibility and cost basis.

There is either a project to roll out this feature or not.

If there is not project then you have released a product hat is not complete and your literature as we know on other products, s misleading  and probably illegal in certain countries.

If there is a project, its been signed off by senior management and finance with a ROI to benefit your customers and will have a completion date.

Your answer is disingenuous.

Please consider this for your future answers.

You are the link between  customers and the product, please keep that in mind.

I agree with the criticism. It is disappointing that TP-Link has released a product that is incomplete. The product description contains no indication that certain features are restricted or absent. This is not only misleading but also potentially legally questionable.

The missing features are crucial and essential for the intended use. Had I known in advance that these features were missing, I would have chosen not to purchase the product.

I expect clear and transparent communication from you, particularly a concrete timeline for when these features will be added via a firmware update. As a manufacturer, you are responsible for informing your customers about such limitations.

I hope for a timely and binding response.

@sahin76 ngl, I gotta defend TP-Link here. You should do more research before buying anything. Iirc it was stated somewhere on TP-Link's easymesh explanation that the IoT and Guess network won't be extended.

Can you share where you get your information from?

@Kevin_Z exactly, anyways... Could we expect the ax53 v1 easymesh ethernet backhaul be officially released within this week or would it be more like a month? Also could I expect DoH, DoT, and Wireguard VPN be also included in the update?

Kevin_Z wrote

The development team has confirmed that AX53v1 will soon receive official firmware. Please keep an eye on our official websites for updates.

I will update this thread or create a new one to notify you once the official firmware is available.
