@Kevin_Z  doesn't seem to work with ax55 pro v1.0. UK.

I have ax72 as the main router, ax20 in office as satelite with ethernet backhaul, and ax55 pro siting on shelf to go to summer house when finished.

As per the firmware release notes, AX55 Pro v1.0 does support EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul:

If it fails to establish the Ethernet Backhaul, please help verify some more details:

1. How long is the cable between the AX73 (I remember you mentioned you are using an Archer AX73 as the main node, please confirm) and the AX55 Pro? Try using a shorter cable to test and verify if the Ethernet Backhaul can be established.

Alternatively, you can move the AX55 Pro to the AX20's location and connect it with the same cable that the AX20 uses with the AX73. This will help confirm whether the cabling is the issue.

2. If the AX55 Pro still can't establish an Ethernet Backhaul connection by using the same cable, please log in to the AX73's web management page. Check how the satellite devices are connected to the main node and share a screenshot with us.

3. Please ensure you're running the latest official firmware on all devices.

Hi, may I confirm some information to understand your situation better?

1. Does the problem happen after firmware auto-update of Archer AX55?

2. If possible, can you draw the exact network topology?

3. How many clients do you have?

Thanks for your cooperation~

Forgive my bad drawing skills - this should depict simplified network topology different color means different floor

If the network goes crazy, what I do, is I drop the red cables from AX23 satelites and it goes fine again using wifi mesh (maybe I powercycle as well - not certain).

One observation or my personal feeling is that once it happens it somehow mixes up which satelite is which and indefinetly redirects the requests back and forth (seen it in main router topo map that it had screwed naming of the mesh devices)

Hi, thanks for your further sharing~

After consulting senior support with the information you provided, we may need to collect the information below for further research.

1. When the problem happens, you can log into the Web UI of the main AX55, right? If so, can you go to Easymesh page to check whether the satellite routers(AX23) still remain Ethernet connection? You may share the screenshot of their status if possible.

2. May I confirm all your satellite routers(AX23) gets flashing red LED? For the satellite which flashes red LED, can you change another Ethernet cable for it to connect to the main router?

3. As your network topology involves 4 floors, for your wired Ethernet cables, are they  buil-in the walls/floors? Can you put the satellite routers close to the main AX55  and use short Ethernet cable to connect to main AX55 directly for further checking?

Thanks for your cooperation!
