I believe BE800 will support easymesh ethernet backhaul in the future. As for now, my BE800 running on beta firmware (1.1.1 Build 20240322 rel.60800(5553)) support ethernet backhaul.

Hi, the BE800 V1 1.1.1 official firmware that supports Ethernet Backhaul is in releasing process now, I believe it will be available soon.

Upon checking, there is a beta firmware for now, which is the one mentioned by Jun2, we have added it to the original post in this thread.

Any beta firmware that support Ethernet Backhaul for BE805? I have 3 units BE805 and quite useless at the moment without this feature.

Hi,

ethernet backhaul only works if I connect the AX53v2 satellite router (same with AX23v1.2) directly to the AX73v2 main router. If there is a Switch on the way, only a wireless connection is established. All routers have the latest firmware. Is there any restriction/requirement for direct connection of devices without a Switch?

Disable "Loop Prevention" if possible with your switch...

Hi,

 

Did you try maybe first to establish eth backhaul directly between main and satellite, then power off your satellite and move and connect again behind your switch. Power up and wait lets say 5 minutes for routers to hopefully establish ethernet connection.

This is my scenario. Different router model but scenario is the same.I have  c6 v4 model and two dumb switches between them. Also, in my tests this didn't work when I had Poe managed switch between routers.

But with dumb switches everything works without issues. I have one main and three satellites. All switches are gigabit.

Router AX53v1, used in access point mode.
On firmware 1.2.2 there weren’t a single problem for a month, everything was fine.
On firmware 1.2.4 - every few days the web interface falls off, and I have to reboot it (by turning off/on the power).
