Hello, I am having an issue with my AX1500 router. I have set up a guest network in addition to the default SSID, but experiencing an intermittent issue where some of my devices can connect to the main network but get the "no internet" notice in the windows taskbar (and cannot connect via a browser), but when I switch to the other SSID, the internet connection works fine.

I have not found any guides on this issue specifically so I tried to troubleshoot by turning off beam forming but no change. I also saw I could try changing the channel from auto to a specific channel, but I cannot seem to find the option to do this under the wifi > advianced menu.

There are no other wifi routers being picked up by any of my devices as I am not in a densely populated area, so I don't think it's interference from other networks.

I have turned off the guest network for now to see if this fixes the issue on my main network, however I would like to use the guest network feature for when friends and family come to visit. I do not remember experiencing the issue prior to setting up the guest SSID, however I cannot say if this is the cause, as I set up the second SSID within the first few days of receiving the device.

Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can try?

@Seb90

Are you saying the connectivity to the main network is stable once you disabled the Guest Network?

When trying to modify the wireless settings for the main network, you need to disable the Smart Connect first, then you should be able to do that.

Can I know what devices have an issue connecting to the internet? If you connect them to the Guest Network, will they connect stable without an issue?

 @Liverpool20 thank you for the reply!

I am not sure if the connection is stable with the guest network turned off just yet, I've only just changed this and will monitor over the next few days.

I have experienced the issue on my Windows PC which has a Wifi 5 card & external aerial. This device had no issues connecting to the internet via wifi with a previous router (the TP-Link router is only about 2-3 months old). The main network is set as the default on this device. The guest network seems to be stable even when the main network is showing up as 'no internet' on the taskbar.
