How does one connect an ethernet switch to the ethernet port of the extender which is acting as a repeater/extender NOT connect the extender to a wired ethernet connection and become a wireless access point.
Internet via wifi WITH wifi EXT network AND LAN port on extender to Switch to also have a wired LAN segment in addition to the wifi Extender.
How is this accomplished??

Hi, do you mean a network layout like this:

main router---<Wi-Fi>--RE700X---<Ethernet cable>---switch--other wired stuffs.

If yes, you just need to follow the default quick setup guide and on the default extender mode, RE700x could provide both wireless and Ethernet connection for clients.
